Everyone is welcome
New The woodlands are dependent on our group of volunteers to keep it tidy and safe. Join us on Monday mornings or the first Saturday of each month to help lay stone and wood chips, split logs prune trees, maintain paths in the woodland and plant new stock. We meet at the Depot on Padbury Road at 9.30 am. Paragraph
Flexible environment
No special skills are required—just a willingness to be part of our dedicated team make the area enjoyable and accessible. We supply all protective clothing that you will need although stout footwear is a must. If you have any specialist skills, you are more than welcome. We have a wide range of mechanical equipment that is always in need of some sort of repair or servicing. Experience with chainsaws or other forestry knowledge is also welcome.
